EFESTO-2 Milestone Achievement with Successful Intermediate Review #1

The EFESTO-2 project, a collaborative endeavour involving leading European aerospace organizations, proudly announces a significant milestone achieved during its Intermediate Review #1, held at DLR Bremen, Germany, with the presence of all project partners. This review marked a crucial point in the project's progress and highlighted key accomplishments across various work packages.

Key highlights and remarkable points discussed during Intermediate Review #1 included the successful closing of the design loop at the mission and system levels and plans for the new testing phase of the project.

During the review, it was presented the plans for the Wind Tunnel Testing (WTT) and Structural Tests efforts, which will include upgrades to the ground demonstrator and test rig.
The testing efforts are also aligned with the numerical model updates.

Moreover, the activity envisioned for the GN&C architecture and expected TRL increase was discussed.
